CNCScreen55 is a Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP software that allows you to create in a simple and intuitive way, pages and symbols files of FAGOR 8040, FAGOR 8050 and FAGOR 8055 numerical controls. As user of these controls, you know the infinite graphic possibilities that they offer to you in execution, simulation and edition user modes, allowing you to create pages for the user's programs that simplifies repetitive or complex operations, reducing them to the creation of user's program combined with friendly pages and symbols for the worker. This way, you can reduce programming of repetitive operations and setup time in your production. It is suitable from its use in workshop, in configuration and programming tasks, to check the results of you creativity and to take out the maximum profit of the power of your CNC, to learning centers, giving support to the personalization modes teaching of these controls.

There are multiple applications of this pages and symbols editor, like the creation of your CNC page 0, to present the logo of your company at startup, until complex screens that allow you to carry out programming tasks automatically, to reduce usual operations by means of screens that allow you to introduce basic geometric and technological data of an operation to automatically develop programs in parametric coordinates, to control your production and machine parameters  through screens that show CNC memory values, as machining times or number of pieces, to give  graphical support  to cycles programming, etc.

This screen is based on your CNC pages and symbols edition screen aspect. Besides incorporating all the drawing elements that your CNC accepts, it has tools that will facilitate you drawing tasks, like Zoom, or Drawing Help that allow you automatic selection of the entities characteristic points. By means of this screen you will be able to:

• Create screens and symbols, Edit screens and existent symbols or Import dxf files by means of the import template that the program incorporates, and transform them easily into pages and symbols to use in your control. 

• Draw, select, copy, cut, paste, move, delete and change the color of drawing entities with a single click.

• Use the drawing grid configuring the distance between points, with Force coordinates to the points of the grid.

• Use Drawing Help that will select automatically characteristic points (half point, beginning, end, quadrant, etc.) of the entities, introduce symbols linked to file or directly symbol entities without file connection and introduce or edit the page comment.

• Change with a single click the color of the entities before or after drawing them and the back color. 

• Make zoom until x4 to draw the details with the maximum quality. 

• Introduce points by mouse clicks or directly introduce coordinates from keyboard.

• Identify line and column of a position automatically for the later inclusion of introduction windows or presentation of data in the screen of your CNC with the personalization sentence ODW.

PC-CNC EXPLORER

Once elaborated the wanted page, CNCScreen55 has a complete PC-CNC explorer module that will allow you to organize your numerical control information as you want, in both PC and numerical control. This module has an explorer to navigate in your PC directories or in your numerical control by means of DNC, via RS-232. In the following screenshot the main window of this module is shown.

As you can see, the screen is divided in three main areas, indicating the directories of your PC, the files in the current path and the content of your numerical control memory. The main characteristics of the PC-CNC explorer module are:

• Communication DNC via RS-232 between PC and CNC. By means of this module you can send and receive, working from the PC or from the numerical control, files of pages, symbols, programs and tables of CNC. Besides to send and to receive, they are available many other options of the DNC protocol, like deleting CNC files from the PC, to request current directory, etc. Extreme simplicity of communication configuration.
• Comfortable and intuitive user interface. Dragging files from CNC list and Dropping them in PC list or in any directory of the directory list of the PC, or vice versa, the communication will begin, in one or another sense. A progress and messages bar will show you the communication progress. 
• Selection among programs, tables, and pages and symbols like active file type. According to the current file type, only files of that type will be shown in both lists, making easy the administration of information. The icons of directories list will inform you wich of them contains files of the selected type. 
• Preliminary View Window for programs, charts, pages and symbols. In this window, part of the file selected is visualized in case of programs and tables or the content of the page or selected symbol is drawn. This way, it is not necessary to open the file to examine its content. 
• Copy, cut, paste, rename and delete files in the PC. Comment edition for pages, symbols and programs. 
• Complete contextual menus to access quickly to all the commands. 
• Programs and tables editor. With this tool you can create or edit the content of your ISO programs, FAGOR high level code or tables.

Besides the exposed characteristics, CNCScreen55 has a complete help file that will allow you to consult any operation doubt in a simple and quick way. When installing CNCScreen55, optionally you will be able to associate the file extensions .pim, .pit (programs), .tbl (tables), .pan (screens) and .sim (symbols) to the program, so that, only making double click on any file of these types, you will access to its edition in CNCScreen55.
